Lulu Island
Project overview
A man-made island located on the Manama coast, the US$ 1.25 billion Lulu Island mixed-use development project will cover an area of 564,000 square metres. Designed in the shape of a number 9, Lulu Island will contain 39 residential buildings with over 1,200 apartments with waterfront views, a residential tower block, 49 chalets, 65 Arabian-designed villas, a 325room five star hotel, a marina and yacht club, an aquarium, a medical centre, a shopping mall, and a multi-function conference/exhibition centre.
AMA Group involvement
With a total contract value of US$ 80 million, AMA Group will provide infrastructure development and maritime works.
Infrastructure activities include road works, district cooling, sewage and drainage, and landscaping.
Maritime works include quay walling and revetments.
